He was predeceased by: his father Thomas W. Cox; his wife Dorothy; his stepmother Kathryn Cox; his daughter Jane Cox Parrott; and his siblings, Clarence Cox (Willa Mae), Herbert Cox (Ethelda), Harold Cox (Mary), Paul Cox (Mildred), Fred Cox, Robert Cox, Marie Ritchey (George) and Beaulah Ginter.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Cox (Pamela); his grandsons, Jeff Cox (Amber) and Drew Cox (Ashley); and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Ginter and Grace Cox. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
