She is survived by: her mother Mabeline "Bo" Steele; her brother Carl Edward Steele of Oakland, CA; her daughters, Chayla Madsen (Ben) of Lexington and Christian Reid of Lexington; her grandchildren, Lesley, Christopher, Layla, Carlee and Ames; and her close friend Elgin Downey.
