She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel Edwards Beatty and Emmett Beatty; her husband Russell Chester Brown, Sr.; her siblings, Frances Carter and Emmitt Beatty (Anne) of Chicago, IL; her children, Gregory Lamont Brown of Lexington, Sharron Tracy Brown of Lexington, Russell Chester "CJ" Brown, Jr. of Lexington and Russandra Lyse Brown of Marietta, GA; her stepdaughters, Stacy Brown and Cassandra Phillips (Jeremy); her brothers-in-law, William "Billy" Brown and Robert "Bobby" Brown (Clytee) of Dayton, OH; her grandchildren, Dametrius, LeAngela, Gregory, Ramon, Juanneka, Darrius Drake, Eyiana Ighodaro, Christopher Brown, Mikayla Durrick, Titus McBride, Jermaine Anderson, Jamyla and Jada Phillips; and her close friends, Gloria "Dobie" Henry, Ida Byrd and Juanita Drake. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many special friends.
