He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin F. Wheeler and Neva Lemaster Wheeler; his wife Margaret Rowe Wheeler; and his sisters, Frances L. Christian of Ashland, KY. and Phyllis Whitt of Ashland, KY..
He is survived by: his children, Larry B. Wheeler (Karen) and Susan L. Wheeler; his grandson Blaine F. Wheeler of Lexington; and his sister Marilyn Langley of Goose Creek, SC. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 2 nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rosemont Baptist Church.
