He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McKinney and Mary Magalene McKinney; his wife Carolyn Hobbs McKinney; his siblings, Fred Lewis McKinney, Oral (Betty McKinney) of Franklin, OH, Harold Dean McKinney of Ashland, KY, Opal Inez Hall (Hootie) of Grayson, KY and Charlie; his sister-in-law Lynda Hollon of Lexington, KY; his children, Jeffrey Van McKinney of Versailles, KY and Lynda Gayle; and his son-in-law Gregory Williams of Alexandria, KY..
He is survived by: his children, Jill D. Jones (Robbie) of Lexington, KY, Keith F. McKinney of Louisville, KY and Paige Torres of Hollywood, FL; his siblings-in-law, Barbara McKinney of Ashland, KY and Darryl Hobbs (Jane) of Trenton, OH; his daughter-in-law Pam McKinney of Versailles, KY.; his grandchildren, Blayre Worley (Jeremy), Kyle (Lisa), Katie, Matt McKinney, Susan Williamson, Madison, Conner Jones (Bryan Parks), Alyssa Wolf, Keith Jr., Casey, Taylor McKinney, Sebastian (Alexandria), Tabitha and Victoria Torres; his great grandchildren, Parker, Carter Williamson, Amelia, Violet and Nora McKinney; and his grandchildren, Silas McKinney, Zara and Eleanor Wolf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
