We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2019, at the age of 99, Dorothy Herald (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Portsmouth, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Tifft; and her sister Thelma Smith. She is survived by: her son Phillip B. Herald (Sue) of Waco; her grandchildren, Tracy Worden, Randy Tifft, Brian Herald, Deron and Derek Herald; her stepchildren, Tony Cain and Marva Cain Campbell; and her brother Everett Aldridge. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Flatwoods Christian Church, Hospice of the Bluegrass or Sayre Christian Village.
