She was predeceased by: her parents, David Bledsoe and Dovie Bledsoe. She is survived by: her children, George Jackson (Doris), Rev. Samuel Tompkins (Gloria), David Tompkins, Elaine L. Taylor, Charlotte Lee and Teresa Tompkins Engles. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
