It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Blackford in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Blackford; and her parents, Mariah Hocker and Jesse B. Simpson. She is survived by: her daughter Kia Ingram; her grandchildren, Quintin Ingram, Kiara Coyle (Montez) and ShaKeara Ingram; her great grandchildren, TeShawn Jones, Amirah-Rose Coyle, Ahmad-James Coyle and Akeem-Raymon Coyle; and her siblings, Sandra Hocker (Amos) and William Hocker (Darren). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
