She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Covington and Abbie Covington; her husband James J. Stephens (Joe); and her sister Martha Baxter (Hamp). She is survived by: her children, Keith Stephens (Kitty), Marilyn Oldham (Ben) and Martha Meehan (Michael); her grandchildren, Shannon Sampson (John), Jon Oldham (Suzi), Matt Stephens (Kelly), Abby Stephens (Jesse Newkirk), Megan Hanser (Steffen) and Miles Meehan; and her niece Patty Meyer (Tom). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
