He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee Royse and Naomi Ruth Rayburn Royse; and his grandparents, Charles "Bun", Maude Rayburn, Walter and Hattie Belle Royse.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lisa Ross (Rob) of Flemingsburg, Scotty Royse (Tina) of Richmond and Daryl Royse (Brad Shepherd) of Blackey; his nephews, Richie Gulley (Ashley), Auston Young, Jay Royse-Shepherd, James Thornton and Logan Ross; his niece Michaela Royse; and his great-niece Olivia Gulley. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives.
To honor Donnie's memory, contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of Kentucky, the American Diabetes Association, the No Kill Central KY Regional Humane Society, or the Lexington-based non-profit organization the Imperial Court of Kentucky.
