It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Dixon (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on March 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Allen Dixon, Glenn Dixon and Wilma Weissmann. He is survived by: his children, Donna Dixon, Teresa Dixon Barnes, Bruce Dixon (Sheila) and L. Fontaine Sands (Mark); and his grandchildren, Nathan Barnes (Rachael), James Barnes (Carol Ann), CasSandra Middleton (Garry), Alexandra Dixon and Connor Sands.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center Program Fund (THVC Program Fund), 100 Veterans Drive, Wilmore, Ky 40390 or the military organization of their choice.
