He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mitchell; his son Christopher Scott Mitchell; his brother-in-law Jim Tincher; his niece Tonya Cox (Fred); his siblings-in-law, Rick Fizer and Ginny Fizer; his nephew Jay Fizer (Tina); his brother-in-law Alex Bryant (Ellen); his nephew Brandon Bryant; and his niece Vanessa Howes.
