He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burks and Vera Lohmeyer Burks; and his son Clarence Henley. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Keith Burks; his children, Lee Ann Schneider (Kevin) of Michigan, Terry Burks of Virginia, Randy Burks (Lisa) of Georgia, Becky Henley, Joella Glass of Lexington and Frank Henley of Alexandria; his sister Doris Semersheim; and his grandchildren, Brian, Casey, Chuck Burks, Luke Schneider, Adam and Derek Burks. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren.
