It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Whitaker (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Whitaker and Opal Woodall Whitaker; his siblings, Fran Davis and Charles Whitaker; his nephew Chad Davis; his niece Sharon Stogsdill; and his brothers-in-law, Odell Stogsdill and Orv Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Delores; his children, Don Whitaker (Tracy) of Danville, KY and Sharon Montgomery (John) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Chris Whitaker (Amber), Jessica Whitaker (Christian), Travis Hardin (Renae) and Heather Lucchese (Casey); his great grandchildren, Riley, Kaylee, Brayden, Carter and Bella; and his siblings, Betty Dearborn, Charlotte Stogsdill, Leotis Whitaker (Barbara), Linda Sue Smith (Don), Joyce Ford, Mike Whitaker, Al Whitaker (Mary) and Ralph Woodall (Gwenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
