It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Burke (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burke and Mary Burke (Layne); his wife Helen Goff; and his siblings, Clyde Burke and Delphia Boshear.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Burke (Karen) and Sherry Shumard (Jim); and his grandchildren, Jamey Shumard, Jeffrey Shumard and Carolyn Burke. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
