With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Ray Gillespie (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Dunkirk, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lana Carol Toler Gillespie; his parents, Dale Gillespie and Margaret Beals; his stepparents, Marjorie Gillespie and Alvie Beals; and his siblings, Michael Beals, Dana Gillespie, Richard Lee, Cindi Schulthess and Donna Reddick.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Gillespie (Mary-Anne), David Gillespie, Jimmy Gillespie (Tracy) and Anne Rosse; his sister Lori Adams (Mike); and his grandchildren, Dalton Ray Gillespie, Blake Patrick Gillespie, Kaylee Lane Gillespie and Hannah Keene (LD). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
