He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Holmes and Darlene Anson Holmes; his wife Judy; and his siblings-in-law, Larry McCray, Bill McCray, Bruce Welch, Herman Welch, Doris Holmes and Sunny Welch.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Hillenmeyer (Louie); his grandsons, Nickel and Eli Hillenmeyer; and his siblings, Clifford Holmes, JoAnn McCray of Columbia, Missouri. and Dolores McCray of Columbia, Missouri.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews as well as cousins.
