He is survived by: his children, Ernest Franklin and Chrystal Franklin; his grandchildren, Josh Franklin (Kristen), Courtney Norris (Jordan) and Caleb Franklin; his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Benson, Sebastian and Paxton; his siblings, Peggy Hamm (Edward), Terry Hagan (Beverly) and Gene Hagan; his nieces, Christy Hagan Hawkins, Karen Carlson and Robin Collins; his nephew Kurt Puryear; and his friend Marietta Messer.
