It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Neal Massie in Lexington, Kentucky, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay W. Massie and Mary Daniel Massie; and his nephew David Massie. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Bollinger Massie; his daughters, Amee Osbon (David) of Richmond and Melissa Massie of Berea; his grandson Xavier Osbon; his brother Dr. Daniel Massie (Tita) of South Carolina; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. Vaughn Massie (Meg), Maria Massie and Dr. Natalie Gregory (Josh).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Franklin County Humane Society and LIFE House for Animals.
