With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Michael Thompson (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thompson and Pauline Smith Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Barbree Parrish Thompson; his daughters, Heather Britton (Louie), Michelle Blevins (Johnny), Beverley Thompson and Kimberley Bishop (Sherman); his grandchildren, Mikala Stacey (Johnathan), Jared Holman, Amanda Watts (Bill) and Heather Varner, II (John); his great grandchildren, Justin Watts, Blake Watts, John Lewis Varner, III and Lincoln James Varner; and his sister Sharon Murphy (Ray).
Out of respect for the family's sensitivities we ask that no strong cologne or perfumes be wore to the service and that in lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
