He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo L. Fister and Betsy J. Fister; his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Fister Vish; and his sister Jane Elizabeth Williams. He is survived by: his wife Marian Brooks Fister; his daughter Kellie Fister Stokes (Heather); his grandchildren, Natalie Grace Vish, Brooke Katerina Stokes, Kyle Crank, Anastasia Vish and Ryann Easley; his son-in-law Scottie Vish (Michelle); and his siblings, Phil Fister (Cathy), Kevin Fister (Pam), Ken Fister (Sarah) and Patti Fister. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
