With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Harris (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on June 19, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Rosa M Harris. He is survived by: his father Chester Harris; his children, David L Travis, George L Travis (LaShonda) and Lia Parker; his grandchildren, Tyri L Travis, Kori R. Travis, Kambri Parker, Azaria Parker (Lori Watkins Additional), Royal Wine, LuKata Watkings and Mekel Watkins; and also, LeAndra, Kamron and Kelvin Watkins. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

“I work in the same division, Traffic Engineering, at LFUCG from which David retired. He helped me on a few tasks that required his expertise and assistance. David was always very friendly, jovial, and always willing to help his co-workers. He was an all-around wonderful guy, and he will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends.”
