It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Fox Gatewood (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Fox Gatewood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Gager; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bridges Gatewood Crockett and Charles Gager Gatewood. He is survived by: his uncles, Jack and Bobby Gatewood; his children, Katherine Winn Gatewood and George Byron Gatewood (Haley); his grandchildren, Brittany Lynn Johnson Luce (Holland) and Gatewood Byron Swan; and his nieces and nephews, William Taulton Crockett, Palmer Tenn and Ashley Elizabeth Gatewood.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Huberts Episcopal Church (1436 Grimes Mill Rd, Lexington, KY 40515). A reception was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
