He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bratt and Grace W. Bratt; and his siblings, Ruma Bratt (Adams), Harry S. Bratt, Willard Bratt and Nancy R. DeVeronica (Bratt).
He is survived by: his close friends, Brown, Bucalos, Santana and Fay; his brothers, Peter R. Bratt of Goleta, CA and Richard W. Bratt of Syracuse, NY; his son Douglass F. Bratt; his daughter-in-law Sarah Cauldwell Bratt; and his grandsons, Isaac W. Bratt and Owen M. Bratt of Lockport, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Action Council of Lexington or the American Lung Association in his honor.
