He was predeceased by: his parents, Moir Wesley and Sallie Ann Dollarhite Vaughn; and his siblings, Vera Burnette, Ellen Handy, Stella Gusler, Willie, Cecil, Ray, Herman and Cotton.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Cox Vaughn; his sons, Jonathan (Leslie Vaughn) and Ryan (Charisse Vaughn); his grandchildren, Henry, Jack, Stella and Wesley Vaughn; and his sister Jane Lawson of Midlothian, VA..
