He was predeceased by: his wife Kitty T. Sloan; his stepson Ronald G. Looney; his granddaughter Jenny Lynn Sloan; and his siblings, Ralph Gilbert Sloan and Gladys James.
He is survived by: his sons, Clyde W. Sloan (Debbie) and Ralph W. Sloan; his grandchildren, Jason S. Sloan, Jared M. Sloan, Elizabeth Mae Sloan, David A. Sloan, Leslie Lee Looney and Ronald G. Looney, Jr.; and his close friend Errol Cooper. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
