She was predeceased by: her husband Reed Hudson Sr.; her parents, William Barnett and Louanna Johnson Barnett; her sons, James Ronald Hudson, William Roy Hudson, Steven Virgil Hudson and Reed Hudson Jr.; and her siblings, Virgil Barnett, Obie Barnett, Wick Lee Barnett and Fleta Mae Thomas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Hounshell and Louise Jett; and her brother Ronald Barnett. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, host of great grandchildren.
