It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Williams (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Williams and Annie Lee Thomas Williams; and her children, Elmore James Williams and Annie Gail Williams. She is survived by: her granddaughter Chamara Williams; her daughter Vickie Denise Williams; her grandchildren, Jamann Byrd, Angelica Byrd, Jessica Baker and Glenn Covington IV; her great-aunt Vinnie Williams; her siblings, Oris Jefferson of Albany, GA, Lois Pitts, Susie Poole of Detroit, MI, Shirley Jordan, George Williams (Jill) and Dr. Joseph Williams (Gwendolyn); her cousins, Tia, Bertha McCoy, Rufus, Haley Monson and Nieta Johnson; and her friend William Floyd. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
