She was predeceased by: her father Tollie R. Boyd; and her former husband Jeff Kaufmann. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Bryan Lewis; her mother Imogene Stamper Boyd; her daughter Sara Jean Kaufmann; her stepchildren, Erica McMahan (Andy), Christi Jones (Jeremy) and Nathan Lewis (Kortnie Sellers); and her siblings, Dewayne Boyd (Liana) and Veronica Boyd. She is also survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Grace Baptist Church, 811 Bryan Ave., Lexington, KY 40505.
