He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Slone and Retta Schmauch Slone; and his grandson Jerome Nic Frances. He is survived by: his wife Lois A. Slone; his daughters, Nancy Michele Wynn of Newport, TN and Elizabeth Paine Slone of Lexington, KY; his grandson Benjamen Sean Sanders of Nashville, TN.; and his siblings, Kenneth Slone of Fort Myers, FL and Anita Estep of Ashland, KY..
