He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Abney Sr. and Edith; and his daughters, Elizabeth Abney and Evelyn Abney. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Osborne Abney; and his daughters, Polly Hale (Phillip) of Hickson, TN and Carol Feltner (Bruce) of Lexington.
