He is survived by: his former wife Susie Matheny; his wife Leslie Carter; his daughter Jimette Matheny; his grandchildren, Lindsey Kirby, Brian, Mckenzie Jones, Cleveland, Brannen Carter, Charles Michael Carter and Taylor Fishpaw; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Ava Jean and Maddox; and his sister Marianne Samples (Annie).
