He is survived by: his wife Beverly Smith Clayborne; his children, Richelle Clay (Vincent) of Lexington, Charles Clayborne (Megumi) of Yokohama and Michael Clayborne (Tiffany) of Lexington; his brothers, Terry Clayborne (Jane) of Petersburg and Lowell Clayborne (Peggy) of Lexington; and his aunts, Patricia Canon (Frank), Helen Beatty, Barbara Caise and Virginia Smith. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (235 E Fifth St, Lexington, KY 40508).
