He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Russell Schroeder and Charles Daniel Schroeder; his wife Frances Schroeder; his sister Mary Anne Schroeder; and his son-in-law Roger Kitchen.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn (Gary Mays); his brother Daniel Schroeder (Linda); his grandsons, Zachary Dailey and Charles Kitchen of Nicholasville, Kentucky; and his brother Edgardo Denis Riveria of Elgin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
