He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Mary Edith VanDeGrift (Ty) and Brian Collins (Chelsea); and his grandchildren, Grace, Amery VanDeGrift, Trey VanDeGrift (Jenna), Macy, Kevin Collins, Keegan May, Kenlee Casey and Riley Trent.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Wounded Warriors.
