He was predeceased by: his wife Lynda Marie Mattingly Hagan; his parents, Joseph Charles and Mary Catherine "Katie" Lee Hagan; and his siblings, Catherine Miller, Annie Donahue, Charlena Tyler, Joe Hagan, Betty Lou Blanton and Dean Roche.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Marie Balko (Tom) of Lexington; and his grandsons, Michael, CJ and Daniel Balko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
