It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlene Howard Aitkin of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Aitkin and Eleanor Howard Aitkin of Flemingsburg. She is survived by: her siblings, James "Jim" Aitkin (Beverly) of Littleton, CO, John Aitkin (Sue) of Melbourne, FL, Cindy Aitkin of Lexington and Richard "Rick" Aitkin (Jackie) of Versailles; and her nieces and nephews, Tonja Roth of Colorado, Monika Aitkin of Colorado, Michael Aitkin of Colorado, Nicole Stadele of Colorado, Richie Aitkin of Gainesville, GA, Chase Aitkin of Georgetown, KY and Kristen Grubb of Versailles.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
