With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecilia Bates (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Chrystal and Mary Rose Newton; and her son Yves G. Chrystal. She is survived by: her daughter Rosa M. Jackson; and her cousin Sharon K. Newton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
