She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Everett Elsey and Anna Jean Elsey; and her husband Thomas H. MacDonald. She is survived by: her sons, Michael L. MacDonald (Dianne) and Mark T. MacDonald (Marian); and her grandchildren, Catherine W. MacDonald, Taylor C. MacDonald (Crimson), Laura M. Sage (Andrew) and Sarah M. Whitely (Caleb). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Christ Church Cathedral or National Christian Foundation Kentucky.
