He was predeceased by: his parents, W. E. Bolton (Ed) and Velear Bolton; his wife Patricia Fay Henry; and his siblings, Helen Brown (Jack), Bill Bolton (Connie) and Eddie Bolton.
He is survived by: his son Robert Bolton (Gayle) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Casey of Lexington and Kelly of Nashville, TN; and his sister-in-law Dana Bolton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
