He was predeceased by: his wife Millie Gize Romanowitz; his parents, Dr. H. Alex Romanowitz and Mildred Foster Romanowitz (Covington) of Lexington; and his sister Lois R. White of Livonia, MI.. He is survived by: his significant other Doris Pippin Benson; his children, Laura R. Paré (Jeff) of Grass Valley, CA, Mark W. Romanowitz (Nancy) of Aurora, IL and Cynthia E. Frederich (David) of Lexington, KY; his grandsons, Ben, Sam, David Paré, Josiah, Caleb, Daniel, Andy and Nathan Romanowitz; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Levi, Lukas and Louisa.
