He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura M. Carter and John H. Duncan; his brothers, Von Carter and Wayne Duncan; and his grandson Alex Hayden.
He is survived by: his friend Brian Keith "Tee" Carter; his daughters, Katrina Kiragu and LaTisha (Tywanna White); his grandchildren, Alonzo Harris, Teonte White, Jemon Hayden, Teonna White, Markell Adams and William Edwards, Jr.; his siblings, Larry of Lexington, Aaron (Diane) of Lexington, Juan of Lexington, John Carter (Teddye) of Lexington, Douglas Duncan (Sharon) of Lexington, Don Carter of Toledo, OH, Clayton Rankins (Doretha) of Paris, Kim Duncan (Lisa) of Lansing, Tonya Carter of Lexington, Debra Duncan, Doralitta Tyler, Charlotte Duncan-Smith of Lansing and Tanya McCoy of Cincinnati, OH; his aunts, Lottie Stevenson of Lexington, Shirley Lippett, Geraldine Stevenson, Dlois Mitchell, Brenda Townsend of Detroit and Sharon Courtland of Lansing, Michigan.; and his close friends, Donna Howard and Joequetta Parish. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
