She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Newell and Helen Thompson Newell; and her brother Thomas Newell. She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Swartz of Paint Lick, KY and Tiffany Mounce (Charles) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Cami Williams, Gabby Mounce, Melia Swartz and Paisley Mounce; her sister Janice Hatfield (Jeff) of Bronston; her sister-in-law Sandra Newell; her pet Ilio; her nephew Jeremy; her niece Jessica Hatfield; and her great-nieces, Kaylee Brake and Kaydence Hatfield. She is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
