He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Ruble Rogers and Thelma Hendrix Rogers; his former wife Sally Orr Rogers; and his grandparents, Jess A., Irene Ruble Rogers, Alfred T. and Pearl Goodpaster Hendrix.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Cisco Rogers; his children, Jeffrey Rogers (Kathy) of Burlington, KY and Ellen Rohs (Doug); and his grandchildren, Matthew (Grace), Ashley Rogers of Burlington, KY, Michael and Max Rohs. He is also survived by four step children; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
