He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Gilvin and Amos Booth; and his son Ricky Booth. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Booth; his children, Susan McCown and Buck Allen Booth; and his grandson Kenny Hunt. He is also survived by two great granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Church of God.
