In loving memory of Billy Ray Tillett Sr. of Lexington, Kentucky, who departed this world on November 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Billy Ray leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Tillett; his parents, Frank Tillett and Gladys Tillett; his children, Ricky Dean Tillett and Linda Gail Tillett-Murphy; and his siblings, Cecil, Ernest, Tommy Tillett, Lottie May Harney, Betty Louise Powell, Frankie Lee Penn and Wanda Jo Tillett.
He is survived by: his son Billy Tillett Jr. (Dianne); and his sister Elizabeth Spaulding. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - E. Main (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Billy Ray's honor.
