He was predeceased by: his father James Nathan; his wife Evelyn Bussell Mullins; his daughter Joy Duncan; and his siblings, James, Al Mullins and Eva Anderson.

He is survived by: his children, Dale Meadows (Karen), Renee Reynolds, Teresa Meadows Hudson (Mike), Tammy Gilliam (Will) and Piper Mullins; and his sister Edna Parsons. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
