He is survived by: his wife Tina Frances Foster Helmburg; his children, Patricia Lynn Helmburg Routt (Mark) of Versailles, Rebecca Jo Helmburg Hughes (Andy) of Westfield, IN, Debra Durrum Brinegar of Lexington and Michael Black (Sherry) of Lexington; and his pets, Princess and Coco. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
