He was predeceased by: his son Michael Ellis; his parents, Norm Ellis and Betty Ellis; his brothers, Bob, Bud and Jim Ellis; and his nephew Scott Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Glendenning (Trisha), Leslie Darland (Chad Wade), Billy Ellis (Abby) and Diana Clark; his grandchildren, Logan Darland (Ivy Wolfe), Morgan Armendt (Hunter), Felicity Clark, Clair Ellis and Jane Clark; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Landen, Brysen Armendt and Caspian Clark; his former wife Lois Ellis; and his siblings, Ron Ellis, Patty Belton (Terry) and Ken Ellis. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
