She was predeceased by: her husband Paul A. Thornton; her father Henry R. Lightner; and her sisters, Anna Margaret Haggard and Mary Carol Demaree. She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Young (Robin), Becky Burkley (Jim), Linda Miller (Albert) and Mark Young (Mary Ellen). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and two stepsons.
